Aayo!

I go by Jeremy. Or Jeremiah when it’s paperwork. Computer Engineer with ~3 years professional experience working software and hardware. This means

  • Understanding Electrical Schematics, Technical Documentation, Data Sheets and System Requirements

  • Benchmarking inherited designs in terms of throughput, power consumption, memory allocation, features, and bugs

  • Presenting creative solutions with a white board, PowerPoint, and block diagram to get buy-in from Senior Engineers and SMEs

  • Git branching, forking, initializing repositories, programming approved solutions using VHDL, C++, Python, Linux Bash or learning whatever it takes to merge back upstream

  • Flashing embedded systems, clearing breadboards, heating my soldering iron, installing components, putting on safety glasses and excitedly pressing the big red power button

  • Verifying build quality and performance with both software simulation and electrical testbench equipment comprehensively validating design architecture

  • Keeping the project in bounds and getting the project past the finish line by reporting in Agile and Jira the management language of scope, schedule, budget, risk, and most importantly: lessons learned

  • Having a little fun along the way
